Joseph's Friend Birthday Party!

On March 14, we had another birthday party for Joseph. It was a lot of fun. This one was with friends. Below are a lot of pictures from the party. We all talked while our kids played mostly. I did plan a few things for the kids to do and for us to help. Joseph loves the water and so I decided to do a fish theme. Even though the kids didn't really get it, we had them go fake fishing. I also had an idea to have them each get different colored blocks and see who could get their color into a basket the quickest, but they ended up just playing with the blocks instead. (These games will be funner when they are older:)) With the help of Gene's mom Laura, I made little books about Joseph's party for everyone that came. It just talked about what we did, and I took a lot of pictures of everyone so I can give them those and they can put them in their book. On one page we traced the kids hands. It was fun.

Here are a bunch of pictures.

This is Paige. She is so cute.

Here is the birthday boy with me. He is very focused on putting those blocks together.

This is Greg. Joseph's friends are mostly girls, so Greg was the only other boy at the party. Joseph was so glad to have another boy around.

This is Kiley. She is about four months old. She is so cute.

Judy is the little sweetheart who is fishing. What a good fisherwoman:)
Here is Joseph catching a fish.
This is Lily, Audra, and Ryan.
This is Hadley. She really liked Joseph's push toy. She is only like 8 months old and is well on her way to walking.
Joseph is the stud opening presents. He is so smart. He got that down quick. A quick side-note, Joseph was so funny when opening presents at the family party. He would rip a piece of paper off and then hand it to me. Once I was clear across the room and he still handed the paper out for me to take it. So funny!!!
Here is a group shot. What a fun group.

Here is the invitation for his party. Gene's mom came up with this idea for an invitation so fast. She is so talented. She showed me what to do, and I put them together. It was so much fun. Since it was a fish theme, we gave out little bags with gold fish crackers in them for the kids, and m & m's for the parents. It was great fun.
