Air Show

We had such a great time a few weeks ago at an Air Show in Caldwell Idaho. I tried to put Joseph down for an early nap, but to no avail. He fell asleep on the way there and had just woken up for the picture below. I was glad he woke up because this was his first ride on a bus.





Going into the air show. We can hear those airplanes and he is excited. (These were propeller airplanes and not jets)

As we got closer to where the planes were taking off and the sound got really loud, Joseph started to get a little nervous. He clung to me when I had him out of the stroller. When he was in the stroller he would close his eyes.

There were a bunch of airplanes and some helicopters on the ground. We went and looked at those and Joseph liked those.

This American flag was enormous. The announcer said that it would completely cover an average sized house. It was cool to see it attached to this guy.

There were army cars and a lot of old-fashioned cars there too. This was just what Joseph needed. He brightened right up.

Probably one of our best shots of a plane in the air. It is really hard to catch that.

Joseph got to pick out an airplane. Gene showed him a Thunderbird and a Blue Angel and said, "Do you want the airforce or navy?" Joseph picked Air Force. He loves this airplane and after that was able to go right up to the runway. He would fly his airplane with the planes in the sky and ofcourse with a little friend that he made. Joseph is so social.
